Avengers recognise service.
Guard members and parents made a presentation to long serving supporter Dot Proctor at their Mid Season Disco. Dot has manufactured flags and uniforms, cooked food on camps and supported the guard for many years.
Avengers Finish 4th in National Championships.
Avenger Guard come 4th at the British Winter Guard Championships held in Brentwood on 5th April 2008.
With their 2008 show entitled 'Boogey Wonderland' using the music from the animated film 'Happy Feet' the guard performed at a number of competitions leading to the National Championships.
The guard and staff would like to thank all the parents and friends who have supported or contributed in anyway.
Congratulations to the Guardsmen, Anchormen and Southern Knights who came 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.
